Week 16 Update

I keep saying this... but time truly does fly by. Today i drove around looking for a particular address and got lost for the first time, it was really frustrating, but i had to laugh at myself because just 15 weeks ago, i didnt know where anything was - and now i am banging my head against the steering wheel because i SHOULD know where everything is! LOL

Well this month i await the arrival of my work authorisation which means i am going to have to say goodbye to my life of leisure. I look forward to yet another "new" phase over here. I look mostly forward to integrating myself with people, building relationships and seeing if i can actually still DO anything or walk in high heels for that matter!

It has become atleast 10 degrees hotter this week than it has been and quite unpleasant to be outside. After 6 Road trips and another one coming up, i really am starting to get around now and see alot of great things.

In this past few weeks though i have met a few really nice people, easy going and fun to be with and its been really nice to hang out and chat with people whom I have a few things in common. So i look forward to developing those relationships and giving of myself in some way.

I am also learning to speak Spanish.. ok ok LEARNING is a strong word.. i am TRYING to do it! I started out with French but since there are more people here that i can convcerse with in Spanish i switched to that and i think i am mixing it all up so thats not good!

I see that meeting people online is quite big here in the States.. thats probably because people have less fears of psychos! In SA that would hardly really happen, cause you have about a 90% chance of meeting a psycho! And if the people you meet are normal you know what that means hey.. that you ARE the pyscho.

Well, I have been watching this TV show called Project Runway that has truly become my favourite and i have decided to do something skillful or creative (stop laughing!!).

So we will see how that one turns out. A better update next time.
