Quick update!
Lately my life seems to have speeded up at an astronomical rate! Firstly, I have been to some great motorsport events.. 1) NHRA which is top fuel drag racing.. It was such an awesome experience – the racing fuel, the ear-popping sounds of cars that do the ¼ mile in less than 4.5 seconds at upwards of 330 mph (530 km/h). A Top Fuel dragster accelerates from 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in less than 0.8 second! So yeah exciting stuff!
I also went to Pike Peaks hill climb, drove for almost two hours and it would have been so worth the while even just for the stunning view.. but then add to that cars of all sorts of classes and souped up mobiles racing around the winding mountaineous roads 12.4 miles up at top speed, nearly clipping the sides of trees covered cliffs and stupid spectators hanging half way in the road!
The weeks at work also seem a bit of a blur – things have gone so crazy but its been so great and I think I finally have the hang of everything that I am doing (lets hope!).
I took a trip to Boulder last week… and I spent a whole week wondering how I will attempt to describe the experience in the mountains.. breathtaking, romantic, beautiful.. I was just in awe and speechless at what lies in a little town only 30 minutes out of Denver City!
